Dave Tabler is a font of knowledge in general, but when it comes to the history of the Appalachian Region, he simply can't be beat. Years after starting a hobby blog on the subject, Dave found himself with hundreds of articles on the subject and a loyal niche audience to go with them.

Dave is no stranger to running websites and was aware of the functionality he was missing using Blogger. He wanted to migrate the site over to a self-hosted WordPress install, and give it a new and updated design.

Using photographs of objects depicted in the old motif and a similar color scheme, Amaru was able to give the site a fresh look while maintaining a consistent tone for regular guests.
